Jackson Rd looking toward SW Lakeside Drive. The Lower Lake level is still high on Tuesday morning. This elevated level of the Lower Lake kept the Upper Lake at its normal, pre-flood level even though the berm next to the concrete spillway structure had been breached. This picture was taken late in the morning after the detour signs had been erected. Note that Jackson Rd. was overtopped and some of the guard rail washed away. What remains shows the force of the rapid flow of the water.
