Upper Lake Dam, viewed from North Side Berm
This picture was taken on the morning after the flood. It was taken on the north berm looking south. Note that the lake is at normal level and there is normal flow over the spillway. On the left middle side of the photo, the upper bulkhead can just be seen. On the right middle of the picture, some water can be seen flowing away from the bulkheads. The bulkheads were not water tight and leaked some water but not enough that the Upper lake dropped below its normal level. On the south berm, a dock that was washed down by the flood rests.
